I took a train down to DC today with my figure sculpture class and sketched some of the crazy statues in the 1500-1600's Spanish art traveling exhibit. The exhibit included works by Velasquez, Pedro de Mena and some of their contemporaries.

I'm really enjoying my figure sculpture class. All we do is sculpt from life for 6 hours, then tear everything down only to start again. Every day. It's so awesome.
